Aims & Scope
The aims of the JIBTVA are to advance the understanding and application of specific immunological mechanisms, the role of antigens and antigenic epitopes in eliciting biological responses, immune correlates of protection and activity, strategic regulatory and clinical development considerations, adjuvant development and strategies for use, formulations, delivery and devices associated with various immune and antimicrobial therapies as well as other issues and findings relating to accelerating the discovery and advance development through licensure, distribution and use of efficacious vaccines, immune based therapies (IBTs) and antimicrobials. The areas of vaccines, IBTs, and antimicrobials encompass a variety of disciplines, including infectious diseases, transplantation, cancer, allergic disorders, and autoimmune diseases.
We are also interested in:
1) Short Reports—2-5 page papers where an author can present either preliminary data or an idea with theoretical background but has not yet completed the research needed for a complete paper;
2) Book Reviews—Comments and critiques.
